~ The Meaning of Life ~
What is life for, I asked
my cat
Who seemed so very
wise.
He stopped in his tracks,
dropped his toy mouse,
And stared into my eyes.
What is life for, you need to ask?
Well you’ve come to ask the right one.
For a cat knows the answer to the meaning of life.
Life is for
FUN!!!

Life is for
play
And
play
And
play
With a little time
to be humble
And
pray.
Then back to stirring things up a
bit.
Being curious to discover and learn.
Then making some really interesting
friends,
Who’ll enrich your life in
return.
It’s staying by the side of your
friends.
It’s being the best you can
be.
Your opportunities
are everywhere.
But you have to be
nice and clean.
Life's for laughing
as much as you can,
And singing your heart
away.
And being grateful for the love and
respect
That’s bestowed upon you each
day.
It’s for savoring the culinary delights of
food.
But not falling asleep on the
plate.
It’s making sure you’re
not dinner yourself.
And sharing a treat with your
mate.
And after a hard day’s work of
play
And you’ve earned a chance to
rest.
You’ll put up your feet and lay on your back
And do what a cat does
best.

So he licked his paws and took up his
mouse
And went upon his
way.
His job was done, he’d taught me
well,
The meaning of life
today.
