 KRISTEN'S CAT

My cat Cokie can sit, lay down, roll over, and more.  To see her in action, a video is posted on my web site:  http://www.jacksonhomecentral.com/cat_trick.htm  Thanks, Kristen Kern

 KELLEY AND FRANK'S BIG KITTY

Big kitty is a very special cat!  She uses the toilet like a human.   It's so funny.  She gets up on the toilet seat, never makes a mess, and does her business!  She also gives kisses.  If you ask her for a kiss, she puts her lips right up to yours!  Sometimes she demands kisses. She also knows that petting is special.  So she'll take her paw and pet you just like you would pet her.  Owners! Of Big kitty Kelly & Frank!

 RACHEL'S CAT

I have four cats, but Millee, or Millesante for long, is my sweet siamese baby girl who has her own 'baby.'  When she was spayed, which she seemed to enjoy no end--she rolled over to have her tummy rubbed right afterwards--she became attached to a lavender hippopotomus, so much so that the vet sent the toy home with her.  It is a three-inch stuffed animal with four three-inch long purple strings having lavender pads attached to them for paws, a very cute and bizaare creature.  Well, Millee is two years old now, and some months ago she began dragging her 'baby' up and down the stairs with her on a daily basis.  I never know where it's going to be--by the bed?  By the dining room table?  Now, I haven't seen her actually transporting her hippo, but my fiance and our other three cats swear they have had nothing to do with this.  My fiance in all of his cat experience has never witnessed a cat develop such an attachment to any toy.  I just think it is so sweet and adorable, and this is no small hippo for a cat to be carting around!!!!

Millee has another trick.  She tries to kill my fiance, Maurice, with love every morning as he heads down the basement wood stairs--not the upstairs carpeted ones--by doing circle eights around him.  She never tries to kill me.  I am jealous.  And a postscript.  We used to play a game in which I would drop pumpkin seeds on her nose and she would catch them in her paws.  Then I started tossing them and she scooted after them.  Then the entire dining and kitchen areas became littered with pumpkin seeds, and every time Millee came near me she wanted another and would make this strange ca,ca,ca,ca sound and make me feel guilty if I didn't toss another seed.  So I quit.  She got over it in a couple of months, but she still sometimes begs for a seed.  With Warmest Meows, Rachel Fink

 RITA'S CAT

Hi Eve:  Mickey is a Cornish Rex, and a beautiful one at that.  He loves to be teased with the cat teaser, often at times that are inconvenient for me.  One day I tried to ignore his coaxing since I was working on my novel. Then I heard some odd meows accompanied by thumping.  Finally, I turned around to see him doing forward rolls across the floor!  Yes, perfect tuck-your-head-between-your-legs forward rolls!  Now it's part of his routine to get attention.  I have the trick on my video camera, but it's not a digital camera so I can't send it to you.  Rita Toews http://www.domokos.com/Rita.html
But here are some still photos:

Hi Eve:  I finished the tape of Mickey doing his forward rolls, and have sent it off to Eulunda at Animal World.  Keep your fingers crossed that we get somewhere with it!  Thanks again for suggesting it to us.  Rita

 KAMMY'S CAT

Ivory Jones is my 2-year-old tabby from St. Louis, MO. She was born in the year 2000 . She is owned by me, Kammy Jones. Ivory loves to do all kinds of silly things like playing with water by swatting at it with her hand, or getting some water on her paw and then licking it off, but she's scared to get in the water.  She loves listening to music and getting inside the piano. She loves to sit on top and just listen to me play, or she likes to pat at the piano keys and stick her head inside the piano to see where the noise is coming from. She also loves boxes, I don't know why, but she likes lying in them. Whenever we get packages in the mail and open the box up she jumps right in the box and starts playing with the packing peanuts and then lies in there for a while.  Kammy Jones
