The first cat blinkie collection ever.  A monument to the art of creating blinkies...for cat people.

Cat blinkies...for those who are crazy about cats and blinkies.  The Cat Gallery introduces a special collection of blinkies with a cat theme.  They were created by many different people with a shared consuming passion--to make blinkies.  Blinkie addiction is wide-spread.  These little works of art are cute and clever and provide just the thing you might want to say here and there in your visits around the Net and in your emails.  Great to add with your signature.

Blinkies are widely traded among their designers.  The creators of the cat blinkies shown here have generously made the blinkies available for others to use.   Links are given below to sources that required a link.  If you see one of your blinkies here without a link and would like your link added, please email me with the name of your site and your URL (text link). Actual blinkie links are being posted only for those sites that require linking.

If you're inspired to create a cat blinkie or two, blink away!  Let's build this page into a monument to the art of creating blinkies.....for cats.  (Note of advice:  stay away from using copyrighted images, such as Garfield, Pink Panther, and Felix.)

These are yours to snag and use for yourself...BUT, please, do it correctly.  Do not 'Copy and Paste'.  Download/save the graphics to your computer and upload to your server, as you did for your HTML (website) pages. Right click (PC) or Click + Hold (Mac) on the image you want, and choose "save graphic as ..." to a file folder on your computer. In Windows, it can go into your 'My Documents' directory.  WebTV users, use the Transloader!
(Note: different systems will use different words, your menu choice might be: "save graphic as ..." or "save image as ..." or "save background as ...", you need to know your system)

Then, the picture has to be uploaded to the internet. It has to be on SOMEONE's web space, if you're going to use it on the Internet. If you have your own website, then you should upload the image to your website -- the same website on which you are going to *display* the image. If you do not have your own website, and want to display an image in your profile on a forum somewhere or something, then you'll either have to A) get your own website -- one which allows remote linking, or B) find a friend with some webspace to host the image for you, or C) find some image hosting service that allows remote linking. There are services that allow you to upload photos (ImageStation, Yahoo!, etc.), but they usually don't allow remote linking. One service that does is called VillagePhotos.

If you do not use this method and direct link by using an image with my URL (my HTML code name for the image as it is on my site), it is illegal.  There are ways to track you down, and the name of images can be changed, so you would be left with nothing.  If your IP address or Internet provider finds out that you are direct linking... you will most likely be banned. So Just don't do it!

Reading this can help clarify the subject:

The blinkies and other images on this site are for you to enjoy, and you may take them to use yourself, but please do it properly.  You do not 'Copy and Paste'.  They must be saved to your computer (right-click) and uploaded to your own server.
