These are special, endearing gestures that webmasters have come up with to acknowledge, to give to, or to thank others on the Internet.  Some of The Cat Gallery's awards had not been applied for.  These are special for the giver and extraspecial for the receiver.  Ours have been placed in the Awards Gallery.

This page is for other joys that may come unexpectedly for unanticipated reasons.  How fun it is to devise this type of gift to give and how pleasing to receive such a favor.  I have used the Gift Seals from the Phenomenal Women of the Web to customize with my own good wishes for my visitors to take with them, and I look forward to creating other presents in the future.  But I realized it would be fitting to be able to display the thoughtful gifts others have bestowed upon this site and link them back to their creators.  And now I have a place for it.

You know that look of smug bliss that every cat gets when you manage to find just the right place to scratch, rub or tickle on its body? And the rumbling purr that soon follows, shaking everything in the room? Well, that's what this award is about... you can't apply for it... The award is for a "feel good" site, one that makes us go "awwwwwwwwwwww" or gives us that warm cuddly feeling. 'Cuz as the old saying goes, if the cat is happy, then everyone is happy!
